Hi – My name is Mesha. I am a prior service Marine that holds a
degree in secondary education, a certification in Civil Design/
Engineering and will be completing my B.A. at UMUC in Humanities with
a concentration in African-American studies in the spring of 2012.
The next stretch of my educational journey will be to earn my graduate
degree in Herbal Studies at Tai Sophia.
I have four beautiful daughters, and a loving and supportive husband.
I am certified Natural Hair Care Consultant and Stylist that
specializes in natural hair care for the entire family. I received my
certification in 2006 from PGCC and Madam Walker’s Braidery – both are
located in Maryland.
I am the creator and owner of a line of natural hair care products
called Imani~Joy Naturals that are tailored for those with nut
allergies, eczema, and brittle and dry hair. I am also the creator
and moderator for a facebook community page called Natural Hair Care
for Children (www.Facebook.com/
contributor for Our Natural Kids (www.OurNaturalKids.ning.com) which
is a social website exclusively for caring for children’s natural
hair. I have been featured on Nappturalite Radio, in the Examiner and
have also had the opportunity to provide a seminar on caring for
natural hair to adoptive parents of Ethiopian children.
I offer classes on product making, caring for your hair and your
children’s hair at home, and advanced classes on double strand twist
with extensions.
