I have over 7 years experience in hair styling. I am a licensed cosmetologist with the state of California. My skills include sewing in a full head weave and using an artistic eye to create camera- ready hair. I am extremely hard working, and a dedicated self-efficient team player. I am able to multi-task, reliable, detailed-oriented, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Born and raised in Warren, Ohio I developed a love to style hair, coming from a family of eleven children and being the youngest. I am on a path to be a success. My mission is to collaborate and work with all artist, movie directors, fashion media and entertainment talents dealing with beauty.

SONIA
Sonia Gholson was born and raised in Chattanooga Tennessee. In 1998, she moved to Atlanta Georgia to attend the Atlanta Technical College where she earned a diploma in cosmetology. In 2007, Sonia attended Dudley’s University advanced salon enhancement training course where she was trained by salon owner and educator Mavis Kelly of Durham, North Carolina. In 2009, Sonia attended the Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics where she earned a 97.0 G.P.A.; an esthetic certification, Spa Therapies certification, Microdermabrasion certification, and foot reflexology certification.
She was taught by highly trained instructors Anthony Kyle, Ray Louis, and Diane Dettering just to name a few. Soon after attending the Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, Sonia met Natural Hair expert Robin D. Groover and joined her team of staff at the Sutera Hair Spa and Too Groovy where she was taught the ceramic fusion styling technique and the importance of healthy hair. There she became a shampoo texture expert and earned a Groove Therapy certification. Sonia felt deep within her heart that she was destined to do great things and decided to step out on faith and move her career to Los Angeles. Today Sonia is a independent contractor at Na-klectic LA in Hollywood where she work with another team of natural hair experts. As Sonia continues to strive, she will continue to grow in the hair, skin, and make up industry.

Hello everyone, my name is Tatana and I am a stylist at Na-Klectic LA. I am so excited and honored to be apart of this team. I recently graduated in April 2011 from Palace Beauty College where I received my certificate in Cosmetology. I specialize in natural weaves, braids, kinky twist, coils (comb twist), press & curl, wig styling, and much more. I love creating new styles and techniques as well as being open to new ideas. I know my recent education and 6 years of experience in hair styling and hair care would be fully utilized within Na-Klectic. My goal as a hair stylist is to give the client the type of look he or she desires, as well as recommending products and giving knowledge on caring for the hair while providing a relaxing environment.
