I have been listening to Eric Roberson for years. I am a music lover… A real music lover. I love underground music. I listen to Eric Roberson, Julie Dexter, Nikka Costa, Portishead, DJ Krush, and many “unknown” artists that are not featured on the radio. These artists are well known in the real soul/underground music scene. I am hoping that I can connect more people to the underground circuit. We need to understand that real music feeds the soul. We need words of love, encouragement, upliftment, and purification.
I want to introduce you to Eric Roberson. If you do not know him, you will! I have seen him at least six times in concert. “Talented” is the word. He is a singer, songwriter, and producer. Eric Roberson is a graduate of Howard University. He has been writing for artists such as Musiq, Dwele, Jill Scott, Vivian Green, and Will Downing. He is an amazing artist for many reasons. The real music scene has disappeared but a few soldiers of the true soul movement still exist. Eric Roberson is still keeping music soulful and consistent. I recommend one of my favorite cds, “Left”.
